Rusty George, a South Sound leader in branding, web design and marketing, is seeking a qualified can-do creative with a natural ability to interpret a client’s vision and deliver effective visual solutions. The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge and a comprehensive command of brand development, integrated marketing campaigns, digital media, UX/UI, and video. A background in the building industry is a plus. A strong work ethic, relentless curiosity and positive attitude are essential.

Proficient knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, and a good command of bringing concepts to life through digital media.
Ability to utilize web development tools including XD, Figma and codeless platforms like Wordpress, Squarespace or Wix. Our preferred platform is Webflow and we would expect you to be able to quickly bring yourself up to speed on it.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Duties
Creating the idea
Take a brief and solve client problem creatively and effectively
Generate concepts that meet or exceed Agency standards
Then demonstrate ability to think past a brief and to deliver beyond client expectations
Exhibit craftsmanship and attention to detail
Demonstrate ability to work with leadership team in the pursuit of visionary ideas and to think in larger, brand-building campaign platforms across all media
Executing
Create workable, sellable solutions for internal presentation on all projects
Must be able to professionally execute concepts to a variety of media, including print, advertising and digital platforms
Must confidently participate in internal and client brainstorms and presentations
Show ability to work on several projects at once
Learn to operate within the process of production and traffic in the Agency
Understanding and Contributing to Agency Core Functions
Learn and develop a working knowledge of agency processes and philosophy.
Be able to collaborate and tactfully problem-solve with team, outside vendors and clients
Understand all clients’ core purposes beyond making money to deliver transformative results
Keep precise track of hours and submit punctually in time management software

We are searching for a qualified marketer to help us uncover their unique competitive advantage, proclaim their position to stand out in the marketplace, and develop and execute an effective communications strategy to attract the business opportunities they need to grow their businesses.
Your Role:
Collaborate with our team to develop smart marketing strategies necessary to achieve our client’s business objectives. Although the following list may evolve based on your insights, we envision your role will include:
Client Engagement
Actively participate in workshops, presentations and communications in order to capture the perfect intel to build successful brand and marketing strategies
Always serve as an advocate of our clients, constantly seeking out opportunities to help them grow awareness and attract quality business development opportunities
Collaborate with our team to sharpen our skills and enhance our creative services
Discovery
Actively participate in kick-off client strategy session to determine our clients’ business goals, challenges, needs, audiences and criteria
Learn about clients’ products or services
Utilize online research tools to analyze the competitive environment
Conduct interviews of audience members to gain qualitative insights
Compile examples of best trends in the industry to use as inspiration during development
Strategy
Utilize knowledge gained during discovery, and collaborate with team to develop comprehensive brand/marketing strategy plans
Clients’ unique positions and competitive advantage
Competitive challenges and opportunities to overcome them
Audience personas, needs, motivations and preferences
Brand platform: position, promise, story and traits
Communications plan including campaign themes, inbound and outbound strategies, and content calendar
Participate in client presentations and discussions
Execution
Collaborate with the team to develop content on websites, articles/blogs, collateral, social media and advertising projects
We understand the usefulness of AI, however the ability to write customized content based on our clients’ unique voice and point of view is required. Professional writing skills (spelling, grammar, attention to detail) is a must!
Acquire, compile and record logins to clients’ websites, social media accounts, Google suite, and other digital platforms
Implement targeted traditional and digital marketing and advertising campaigns based on strategic plan
Participate in the development of outbound marketing tactics including email and direct mail campaigns
Analyze metrics, consult with team and clients, and make adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness
Seek out and present new marketing trends and methodologies to promote our clients and increase our offerings
Qualifications
Education in marketing, business, or related fields
Proven experience in the marketing field, especially in the building industry
In-depth understanding of modern marketing principles and practices
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of industry-specific language
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data relevant to marketing strategies
Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects without error
Proficiency in software and tools specific to marketing and communications, including SEO, traffic analytics, Google suite, and others
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities within the context of the building industry
Agency experience is a plus. A great attitude and strong work ethic is a must!
Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
